As news and recommendations related to COVID-19 continue to evolve, it is with great regret that we cancel all remaining Season 2019-2020 concerts at Sanders Theatre through May 10. Consideration of your health and safety and that of our musicians and staff members requires us to make this difficult yet inevitable decision.
We wish everyone in our community well as we all face the disruption and uncertainty of a strange new world. We look forward to the time when we can gather again to share and celebrate great music.
For patrons who had purchased tickets to one of our cancelled concerts we would like to ask you to consider the following options:
- Donate your tickets to BCMS. As the cancellations will have a dire financial impact on all arts organizations and the artists who bring us joy during times good and bad, your generosity is greatly appreciated and helps us to honor our contracts with our musicians and production team for the cancelled events. You will receive a letter to acknowledge your tax-deductible contribution.
- Use them as credit toward any BCMS subscriptions/tickets for the 2020-21 season. Please contact our office when you plan to sign up for the season or attend an event, and we will gratefully issue new tickets based on your previous seating preferences for you.
- Receive a full refund for your tickets.
It may take longer than usual for us to process your requests and send you acknowledgements and refunds. We thank you in advance for your patience!

Will we be able to apply those ticket credits to next year’s subscription?
Yes, you can apply the ticket credits toward Season 2020-2021 subscriptions and single tickets.

I am one of three subscribers and I believe the subscription is in my name, Karin Tate. We would like to apply the cost of the cancelled concerts to our subscription for next year. We are in Mezzanine section D row D seats 4,5,6. Do you need any other info?

I am so sorry that the 2019-20 Season must end on a dark note, but I enthusiastically look forward to brighter notes of the 2020-21 season of concerts.
