In-person health and safety protocols

As we return to enjoy and celebrate music in person, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all our patrons, musicians, and staff. We continue to monitor the pandemic and follow the public health and safety guidelines issued by federal, state and local authorities as well as our venue hosts. We will proactively inform our patrons of the latest protocols for attendance at each venue.

Current protocols (updated 11/1/2022)

  • All patrons need to self-attest that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received their booster(s) if eligible, and they have no current infection, symptoms or recent exposure to others with COVID-19.
  • Doors open 30 minutes prior to concert start time.
  • Well-fitted face masks are strongly recommended while indoors. Masks remain a requirement for individuals who have ended isolation from a positive COVID-19 diagnosis through day 10, as well as for those who have had close contacts of a COVID-19 exposure.
  • All musicians performing in the season and all staff members are fully vaccinated and boosted.
  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms on the day of the performance, please stay home and contact our office.

  • NEW SECURITY PROCEDURES: All guests are required to allow authorized security officers to check bags and instrument cases before entering the building. Certain items will be prohibited by New England Conservatory. Refusal of a bag search will result in denial of entry to, or ejection from, the performance or event. To read the full bag search policy, please visit necmusic.edu/box-office.

Please note that protocols are subject to change. If you are not comfortable with a given update, we will accommodate your request for refund, exchange, or conversion of your order to a donation.
